Mark and MiKayla's Wedding Reception

The reception was held in a 140' x 40' tent for 350 guests. And this was a group that knew how to have fun!

(If you've missed the wedding prep or family portraits, please click here and here.)

Congratulations, newlyweds!

And a great speech - in three parts! - by Lance.

Now things get a little crazy!
The dance did not start until 9:00, just as the sun was setting, but it continued until well past 2:00.

It's official!
(Thanks for letting us be a witness to your marriage. We won't let you down!)

Along with Sarah and Travis, our contribution to the newlyweds was a beautiful piece of wall art for their new home/small business. I'm excited for a drink at the new place. See you soon!

Mark and MiKayla's Wedding Portraits

After all the wedding prep, it's time for a few portraits. Based on my secret side shots, I think their (official) wedding photographer is going to have a few keepers! The barn and fields provide such a nice backdrop for photos.

I just love the look from MiKayla's sister Brittany, the maid of honor.

Congratulations, MiKayla! Welcome to the Johnson Family. It's super awesome!

Mark and MiKayla's Wedding Prep

Adam's brother Mark and his lovely wife MiKayla married last weekend at the Johnson family home just outside Mitchell, SD. The preparation for the event was a year in the making, as the fields were mowed, dead trees were cleared, and flowers were planted in anticipation of the big day. Even the barn received a fresh coat of paint. Mark and MiKayla definitely put in their time for this one, and it showed. The wedding and reception were beautiful.

Sorry, requisite TJ pic, this time running full-speed through the fields.
