We missed Halloween and nearly missed Election Day here in Stillwater, thanks to a warm and sunny week spent drinking beer, hiking the trails, and visiting family and friends in Colorado. It was well worth it. We returned just in time to watch the results roll in. I hope everyone's favorite candidate and/or amendment won, but of course I have already voted for mine.
Meanwhile, here are the last vestiges of fall around town. Now we enter the long, cold, dark days of the upper Midwestern winter. Boo.
