The gardens have been active with insect life lately. Here are a few photos of the happenings.

Also, in honor of the almost two-year anniversary of the blog, I've finally decided to customize the template. I'm still having issues with photo posting/editing/lay-out, but I'm working on it. Happy (early) Autumn!

Polar Bears

The polar bears at Como Zoo are back. I know someone is excited.

This particular polar bear reminds me of a certain fuzzy white dog.

And this particular lion reminds me of a certain sleepy kitty.

All animals are the same, all sweet and precious and just smart enough to know it.

Como Zoo

We have a few leftover photos from the family trip to Como Zoo, aquatic plants being one of the highlights.

One of my long-term goals is to secure a little shed on the property to surround with all manner of gardens. For now, this display will have to suffice.
